Environmental Education
Knowing to Conserve
Environmental education is one of our key programs. Through it, we aim to raise awareness and sensitize society as a whole about the importance of conserving natural resources. Because every human action leaves a footprint, and understanding it is the first step toward changing it.
Environmental education allows us to bring children, youth, and adults closer to the richness of our environment, show them the efforts we make to protect it, and above all, inspire them to be active participants in the change.

Education in schools:
In Mexico and the Dominican Republic, we collaborate with educational centers of all levels. We conduct workshops, informational sessions, lectures, and organize ecological tours to sow knowledge and love for nature.

Environmental events:
We celebrate the main environmental commemorative dates throughout the year by organizing activities that involve schools, visitors, residents, and guests. Each event is an opportunity to learn, share, and act.

We run outreach campaigns that strengthen values of protection and conservation. Through these campaigns, we also promote Eco-Bahia’s programs, inviting guests, property owners, collaborators, and local communities to get involved and contribute.

Each year, we host students in fields related to environmental sciences who carry out their internships with us through research projects that contribute to the conservation of our environment.
