Regenerative Tourism and Conservation in Action

The year 2023 was filled with challenges and remarkable progress for the Eco-Bahia foundation, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability, environmental conservation, and regenerative tourism in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

Our work goes beyond words: every day we focus on protecting endangered species, promoting environmental education, supporting the well-being of local communities, and implementing responsible tourism practices.

Commitment to Sustainability and the UN SDGs

The Eco-Bahia foundation, as part of the responsible leadership promoted by Grupo Piñero, is aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda and actively contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

With operations in Mexico and the Dominican Republic, our initiatives seek to establish a regenerative tourism model, restoring ecosystems while engaging employees, guests, local communities, and institutions in this mission.

Our 2023 Achievements in Conservation and Regenerative Tourism

Throughout 2023, we focused on key projects that reinforce our environmental commitment:

🌿 Protection of endangered species, including marine turtles and native birds.
🌿 Environmental education, inspiring younger generations through awareness programs.
🌿 Regenerative tourism, integrating sustainable practices across Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts.
🌿 Community and social action, strengthening partnerships with local institutions and fostering volunteer engagement.

Each initiative brings us closer to our mission of placing sustainability at the heart of our operations.

United for a More Sustainable Future

The path to sustainability is long, but at Eco-Bahia we believe that together we can create a positive impact on the environment and local communities.
