At the Eco-Bahia foundation, we believe that environmental education begins in childhood. With this purpose, we organized a recycled art workshop in Playa Nueva Romana, inviting local children and the sons and daughters of homeowners to learn how to give new life to recyclable materials through creative crafts.
Using plastic bottles, paint, and plenty of imagination, the children created colorful decorative fish. This activity not only encouraged creativity but also demonstrated how items that are usually discarded can be transformed into unique and valuable pieces.
Through this fun and engaging experience, the children learned the importance of creative recycling and how small actions can make a big difference for the environment.
The recycled art activity is part of the Environmental Education Program of the Eco-Bahia foundation, an initiative that promotes ecological awareness among the Playa Nueva Romana community.
Through workshops, educational activities, and community engagement, Eco-Bahia strengthens its commitment to protecting the environment and building a more sustainable future for younger generations.
At Eco-Bahia, we believe that the collaboration of families, communities, and children is essential to promote a culture of respect for nature.
🌿 Each craft created during this activity is a reminder that recycling and sustainability can be fun, educational, and transformative.
✨ Let’s continue inspiring future generations to become true guardians of our planet.
