On August 20, Eco-Bahia foundation visited the Maya community of San Pedro Coba, composed of more than 70 families and 200 children, to support families with the delivery of essential food supplies.
A total of 464 kg of perishable foods were distributed, including sugar, beans, rice, canned tuna, cereals, and 320 kg of fruits such as apples, oranges, papaya, and pineapple.
This initiative was made possible thanks to the collaboration of Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort and Tulum Country Club, who provided the resources needed to deliver these basic food baskets to the families most in need.
“Eco-Bahia will continue supporting this community by promoting environmental education and fostering a vision of respect for nature. We aim for both adults and children to live in balance and harmony in a healthy environment,” said Yuritzi Espino, Manager of Eco-Bahia foundation.
“For all of us at Bahia Principe, supporting our Maya communities is essential. Activities like this reinforce our social commitment and institutional values,” concluded the Manager of Eco-Bahia foundation.
